Cat in a cake card!

This card was made for a gorgeous little girl who is turning 2 in the next couple of weeks.
I used the Card Patterns sketch for the layout design, I just rotated it 90 degrees to make it fit with the design.
Here is the sketch:
and how it looks rotated!

I am also entering this card in the Bitten By the Bug 2 challenge.   The theme is.........The Bakery........create a project with anything you would find in a bakery.  Please remember that this is a "Cricut" blog so you MUST use your Cricut for the selected cut to enter the challenge.
I used my Birthday Bash cricut cartridge to cut the cat and cake image.  Yummy cakes are definitely something you would find in a bakery (hopefully not a cat though!)

All papers are Kaisercraft, as is the stamped sentiment and the brad in the middle of the flower.
I used MFT 'pretty posies' die to cut the felt flowers and MFT scallop die for the brown pp scallop.
I used my 'Swiss dots' embossing folder to emboss the pink cardstock.

A little lesson I learnt - if I want to sew on my paper, then I need to do all the sewing before I emboss.  This morning I embossed the dots and then sewed around the edges of the cardstock, but the sewing machine foot kind of flattened some of my dots!  Probably common sense to everyone else, but something I have learned today!

Thanks for looking!
