Butterfly card
I love the challenge over at The Ribbon Reel this week. The challenge was to use this inspiration picture and create a card /project using the COLOURS from the PHOTO plus BUTTERFLIES.
I love these colours! I used the mustards, blues and reds in my card. I stamped each butterfly twice on each colour. I attached the first one with pop dots on my card and then on the second butterfly I just put adhesive down the 'body' part of the butterfly so that I could pull the wings up and make them look 3D and kind of like they are flying (well that's the effect I was going for anyway!)
I followed the sketch from Mojo Monday to make my card as well. Love this sketch too!
All papers were from Lilybee Designs 'This and That' collection
Butterfly stamps and sentiment stamp are from Kaisercraft
Thanks for looking!
