Birthday Wishes card for CPS sketch #244
I made this little card for the Card Positioning Systems sketch #244. I really like this sketch, it's simple, yet effective. I love this little mouse peeking out from the present, he was cut from the Birthday Bash cartridge. I'm just not too sure about the yellow though. At first I had cut out a matching yellow patterned paper for the present (from the same line of papers) but the patterns all seemed to get lost within one another so I felt it needed a bold, plain colour. I just don't know if the yellow works?
Then when I stamped my sentiment on I pushed too hard and it looks a bit 'thick' (now I know why I always stamp onto cardstock first then adhere the cardstock to the card- at least that way if you muck up the stamping you don't muck up the whole card!) Never mind.
Here is the sketch in case you're interested in playing along:
Papers are from: Lilybee Designs - This and That collection
Birthday Wishes stamp - Kaisercraft
Birthday Bash cricut cartridge (mouse, circle and scalloped circle)
